There are a lot of work for each meal, cooking is only half of it. The other half is dish washing. Not only it is labor intensive, but it uses a lot drinking-grade water, and energy.
When I visited Morocco a couple of years ago, I noticed that a kitchen for a family 5+ is smaller than our bathroom in size! Where are the varieties of dishes, pots, utensils being stored? They don’t have them! They don’t need them. To eat with the family is to sit in a circle, to tear a piece of bread and dip into the common serving dish, which is also the cookware!
Thoughts - If you want to control the population growth, just make a complicated system of using variety of dishes and utensils.
I’d like to design my own kitchen which uses less power and time for both people and machines. Where should I start?
